PADI IDC Staff Instructor
What is our PADI IDC Staff Instructor course like?
The IDC Staff Instructor course prepares candidates to teach the PADI Assistant Instructor course and to work as faculty in PADI Instructor Development (IDC) programs.
The training increases the candidate's teaching capabilities and develops assessment and counseling techniques through independent study, classroom sessions, guided assessment training, and an integration.
You will be qualified to:
Independently teach and certify PADI Assistant Instructors at dive centers or resorts holding a minimum PADI Five Star Dive Center or Resorts level.
Lead segments of IDC training when a PADI Course Director is available to consult with you.
Evaluate and correct the PADI Instructor candidate during knowledge development and academic presentations in confined water and open water.
Provide advice and remedial training to instructor candidates and IDC Staff Instructor candidates.
Assist in instructor-level continuing education programs such as PADI Specialty Instructor Training courses.
Observe during the orientation and closing sessions of the PADI Instructor Exams.

PREREQUISITES
- Ser PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer en Teaching status.
- Agree to conduct all levels of diver training consistent with the standards and philosophy indicated in the PADI Instructor Manual and PADI Course Director Manual.
- Agree to use the PADI System and its components.
