PADI Emergency First Response Instructor

The Emergency First Response Instructor Course addresses specific objectives and delivery requirements for Primary Care, Secondary Care, and Child Care courses, along with instruction on how to structure learning, performance-based training requirements, and your role as instructor in the learning environment. You also learn how to motivate students, how to evaluate students' knowledge, how to present course content effectively, how to do a good job of conducting practical skill-building sessions with students, and how to present a effective scenario based on learning experience. You also learn the use of the AED and the administration of oxygen in emergency cases.

PREREQUISITES To participate in the Emergency First Response Instructor course, you must:
  • Be 18 years of age and have completed adult, child, and infant CPR and first aid training in the past 24 months or be a practicing medical professional such as a physician, emergency medical technician, paramedic, and licensed nurse.
