CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FOUR CAVES

Halfway between Cova dels Anglesos and Punta Des Morters, it can be seen that the outer wall presents a fall of large rocky blocks that continue to a depth of 20 m, where a set of very interesting tunnels and caves have been created. We anchor next to the coast, from this point we dive towards one of the main caves, which are arranged next to each other along the wall. All these caves, except the first, where we can sometimes see a conger eel, offer access to the surface. There is also an exterior passage that connects these three caves with the exit and allows access for the boat. In front of the caves, the bottom is covered with very large rocks that, between 15 and 20 m deep, form numerous tunnels. A short distance away, the rocks give way to sand.

WRECK IN BAD CONDITION

On the sand, near the last rocks lie the fragments of a wreck. Inside the caves live crabs and other crustaceans typical of underwater caves, corvallos, etc. The visit to this underwater environment allows a very interesting dive in which precautions must be taken due to the visual complexity of the landscape that can be disorienting at any given time.
