CHARACTERISTICS OF CALA DE ILLA GRAN

The boat anchors inside the cove that opens to the northeast of Illa Gran d'Addaia, about 8 m deep. Here, the landscape at the bottom is made up of large rocky blocks that gradually descend to their limit with the sand, 25 m deep, where some patches of posidonia can also be seen.

UNDERWATER WALL

The walls that limit the cove drop vertically to 8 m in the interior area, while the north side - at the exit of the cove - continues in an underwater wall that descends in steps to 26 m deep. The dive begins by diving towards the North next to this wall, which will remain to the left, exploring the deepest area first. Later, when the air reserve warrants it, you have to return to a shallower depth and explore the group of rocky blocks, where you can discover groupers, conger eels, moray eels and octopuses.
